ICO Registration - What To Expect 

1. Data Controller Selection & ICO Registration Submission:

We will highlight the legal & operational importance of correct Data Controller/Data Protection Officer Selection, Populate Registration Details (section 16, 2a of the DPA 2020) and provide Basic Awareness Training.

 2. Data Discovery & Asset Registry:

During this process we help you identify and document all the different types & categories of data you hold & process within the organization that contain Personal Data. We will create and provide the Commissioner with a Data Asset Registry (DAR) and use this report as a foundational tool for further analysis and risk assessment. 

3. Data Process Analysis & Protection Report:

We will develop a report containing a detailed description of the process, lawful purpose of use, intended recipients & mechanisms for safeguarding of each relevant record and the corresponding Personal Data .

Along with your DAR, a report containing the results of over 30 data points per record will be submitted to the Commissioner ensuring comprehensive compliance with the requirements of sections 16 & 30 of the Data Protection Act 2020.
